A project for Hong Kong. Apple Pay wants to attract new users by collaborating with Octopus - a popular transit & payment card in HK that everyone uses it.
We want the communication to be simple and direct with some iconic elements. We play around with Chinese characters, dig out catchy keywords that’s related to Octopus experience and enhance the characters with recognizable icons.
